How to play
The basics in 4 steps
- 1
Each round, one player is the sheriff and the others are merchants.
- 2
Merchants secretly put goods into their bag and tell the sheriff what's inside — truthfully or not.
- 3
The sheriff can wave a bag through or open it. Catch a liar and they pay; open an honest bag and you pay.
- 4
After everyone has been sheriff, most money and goods wins.
